Events

The People’s Health Voice hosts events across South Australia to listen, connect, and collaborate with communities.

From regional forums and roundtables to strategic workshops and advisory meetings, our events provide vital spaces for people to share lived experience and shape health system change. These gatherings not only inform our advocacy but also strengthen relationships between communities and decision-makers. We’re proud to continue this work through future events that centre inclusion, equity, and co-design.

Past Events

2025

Far West Engagement, Ceduna SA

In Ceduna, the People’s Health Voice engaged with community and local services to learn about healthcare access and inclusion across the Far West. Conversations highlighted the central role of the Red Cross Hub, Centacare, Yadu Health, Community Paramedics and other trusted providers, while also pointing to long waits for GPs and aged care supports, limited access to dialysis and other specialist providers, and the health impacts of insecure housing. Community members also raised serious concerns about the absence of local rehabilitation and mental health services, as well as the transport access barriers and workforce shortages that leave many without timely and culturally safe support.
