A Community-Designed Voice for Healthcare Access and Inclusion
The People’s Health Voice (PHV) is a community-led mechanism that brings South Australians who face the greatest barriers to healthcare access into the heart of action for system change.
We believe that the wellbeing of all South Australians depends on a healthcare landscape in which;
Communities are heard
Systems are responsive
Lived experience meaningfully guides reform.
Co-designed with members of thirteen focus communities and managed by the South Australian Council of Social Service (SACOSS), the PHV aims to meet people where and how they are. We support continual inclusion, platform local priorities, and work to drive structural change so that the health system becomes more equitable, more accountable and more responsive to the people it serves.
