Social Capital & Social Infrastructure Discussion in SAÂ
You’re invited to help shape Australia’s national Social Capital + Social Infrastructure Measurement Framework.
In this complimentary collaborative session, Resilient Ready and Professor Daniel Aldrich will share the early findings and data from the development of the framework and data tool. This will include the working definitions of social capital and social infrastructure, the structure of the framework, the categories of social infrastructure – all in the Australian disaster risk and resilience context. They will discuss why these definitions and data matter to you, your region and industry, referencing data currently being collected in collaboration with the Centre for Australian Research into Access (CARA).
These visits will give attendees a valuable opportunity to contribute directly to shaping a nationally relevant framework for social capital and social infrastructure – ensuring their region’s and stakeholders’ priorities are represented, gaining early insight into emerging findings, and influencing work that will inform future investment and policy across all Australian states and territories.
